We currently accept international student enrolments in year levels 7 to 11. We advise Agents, families and students applying to enrol at Footscray High School to have at least level 3 English. As we have and English Language Program at FHS, we are able to provide classes to improve students’ English language. The length of time a student should attend these classes is 20 weeks or 2 terms. Upon successful completion of this program the student then joins mainstream classes.
We have excellent programs of study in English, History, International Politics and Maths and Science. Our broad curriculum caters for the talents of all students – this includes Music, Dance, Outdoor Education, Hospitality and Technology Studies, and Art and Photography. We also offer bridging English in Year 11.
Footscray High School is able to organize Home Stay arrangements.
We provide every support to ensure every student has a successful academic record, as well as providing advice for tertiary studies. Footscray High School provides an orientation camp once a year so students learn about the history and geography of Victoria and to help them establish friendships amongst their peers. Student welfare is catered for by our Student Welfare Co-ordinator, School Nurse and Multicultural aides.
