The Good Friday Appeal raises funds to support the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne to provide world class care to children and their families. Over 50,000 children are treated in the wards and medical centre, and 90,000 children are looked after in the emergency department each year. A number of Footscray High School families have benefitted from the wonderful care provided at the Royal Children’s Hospital and our students feel passionately that they want to contribute to this cause. Students can make a gold-coin donation in return for wearing non-uniform clothing to school. Coins will be collected during periods 1 & 2 on the day.
