Senior basketball had a very competitive day beating Staughton 44-24 but falling short against Western Heights 33-34 and Copperfield 44-45.
Western heights would go on to win the day so the boys should be very proud of their efforts. We had a very even contribution on the day but a few standouts were Toma, Max, Hector, Luca and Luke’s 3 point shooting.
Senior Hockey battled freezing conditions at Footscray Hockey Club and come out better for it. Matt A and Fred W leading the team the boys went 3 draws and a win from 4 games with a tie to Williamstown who ended up progressing to the state champs.
Everybody in the team played their role with multiple goal scorers across the board while the other end of the field Sam B saved plenty to keep up out of the loss column. Fantastic day out with a great team effort displayed by the boys.
