Starting Secondary School at Footscray High School
The move from primary to secondary school is one of the most significant transitions in a young person’s life. Our Year 7 students arrive from primary schools right across Melbourne’s inner west, each with different experiences and strengths; and that diversity is one of our greatest assets.

Each student joins a Home Group class with a dedicated teacher who is a regular presence in their life at school, building the trusted relationships that underpin great learning and serving as the first point of contact for families throughout the year.
