Footscray High School Library

Our Library is central to the daily operation of the school and offers vibrant, welcoming and engaging environments for students and staff to collaborate, read and study.

The Library’s vision is to nurture an ongoing love of reading in our community, to support the teaching and learning of the school curriculum, to celebrate diversity and creativity and to promote social justice. We accomplish this by providing a vast range of digital and print resources, hosting events and activities and offering professional support to help meet our community’s teaching, learning and recreational needs. Our staff are also dedicated to cultivating a sense of curiosity in students and encouraging them to be critical and creative thinkers.
