Careers & Pathways

At Footscray High School, careers and pathways education empowers students to imagine their future and confidently take the next steps toward it. Beginning in Year 9, our program inspires curiosity, courage, and resilience as students explore who they are and the impact they can make beyond school. Through authentic vocational experiences such as Eat Well, Bikehub, Year 10 Work Experience, and our wide range of VET offerings, students connect learning to real-world contexts and possibilities. Guided by our Career Development Counsellors and expert mentors, every student is supported to discover their strengths, set meaningful goals, and navigate tertiary, vocational, and employment pathways with purpose. Our aim is for every FHS graduate to leave with a strong sense of direction, equipped with the skills and mindset to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

If you have any questions please contact Juli Black, Years 10-12  and Chris Lovelock, Years 7-9.
