Both junior campuses provide our students with state-of-the-art learning environments, with several specialist project spaces customised for the STEAM curriculum and project-based learning activities both in and out of the classroom.
Both our junior campuses follow a parallel curriculum and the extracurricular opportunities are synonymous. Throughout the year, there are numerous opportunities for students to interact with their peers across all three of our campuses such as sporting events, art shows, music and theatre performances.
As part of the transition process, students become part of a smaller Learning Community that exists within the larger Year 7 cohort.
The sole factor in campus allocation is the location of the student’s permanent home address. Students must attend the campus closest to their permanent residential address as per the Department of Education’s Placement Policy.
The overall Designated Enrolment Zone of Footscray High School has been divided into two distinct enrolment zones by the Department of Education for the Barkly and Pilgrim campuses.
