Each campus has been purposely designed, and provide a bright, contemporary learning environment for our students.
There are also several specialist project spaces available that are customised for the STEAM curriculum and project based learning activities.
In Year 8, students continue the broad and comprehensive program begun in Year 7. All classrooms are serviced by high speed wireless internet, large screen televisions and are fitted with flexible furniture. Both our junior campuses follow a parallel curriculum and the extracurricular opportunities are synonymous.
Throughout the year, there are numerous opportunities for students to interact with their peers across all three of our campuses such as sporting events, art shows, music and theatre performances.
The wide range of subjects studied in the Year 8 program is designed to equip all students with familiarity, experience and knowledge required for making informed decisions when they begin to make elective choices in Year 9
For more detailed information about the Junior School curriculum please refer to the FHS Junior School Handbook. The handbook includes overviews of the year 7, 8 and 9 programs and subject descriptions.
